Hey Checkmate632, first off nice boat, that's one nasty lookin Convincor!!! And second...i'm a hard core Mopar guy...what's the story on that '70 RoadRunner up on the lift???!!! Not to hijack the thread or anything, if that 632 doesn't work out why not throw a big inch HEMI in your Convincor??

Very nice!! :bigthumb::drool: I had a chance to buy a '70 Road Runner (half done project car, same color, 383 4-speed) last summer but passed, wanted to much money. It's ok, i got plenty of other Mopars in the garage...3 Chargers, a '67 383, '68 383, and a '69 with a 440 (origionaly a 318 car). My father also has a '70 'Cuda 440 (origionaly a 340 car), we take that to Mopar Carlisle every year. It just amazes me how many Checkmate die-hards on here are also Mopar guys...the best taste in boats, and the best taste in cars!!

checkfever im a mopar fan too..... i would much rather run a stroker 440 than a bbc im my convincor. but that swap would be a pain!!!!! i just like the fact that a big block mopar crank sits IN the block unlike the chevy that hangs way out.......i dont even like defending the work on my motor on here just cuz i hate chevys haha. but thats what the boat is set up for so o well

Don't feel too bad man, eventually i'll end up with a 383 stroker SB chevy in my Enchanter. I would love to swap out to a hot 340 stroker Mopar, or in a perfect world a brand new 6.1L SRT8 Hemi motor, but i just don't see any swaps like that being feasable with out a bottom-less wallet, which i don't have lol. I have seen some big old scool Hemi's in some new/newer boats tho, someone posted an Eliminator cat with a pair of blown MP 528 Hemi's in it...but that musta cost big $$$$.

Well thats way cool,70 CUDA is one of my all time favorites, and i love B bodies,my old man has a 69 1/2 6pack road runner, that has a INDY motor in it that has been 8.72 at 155 on stock suspension, and my brother has a 68HEMI road runner ,AND A 68 GTS DART.I Got my Road Runner, and i got a 91 dodge Dakota with a 408 strocker, that runs 10.0s on drag radials,so you are very right, because alot of my buds have checkmates and mopars. It sucks i didnt meet you sooner, because i was at carlisle this year,i would of loved to had checked out your mopars..:bigthumb:

Itell you what, you cant kill a MOPAR motor, because ive had alot of them and they are tough, but for what it cost to build a chevy, its pretty cheap, until u get into the big motors..But i would love to have a Mopar motor in my checkmate, because thats what i am familier with.

Wow, you guy's got some kick a$$ Mopars too!! The lift off hood 69 1/2 RR's and SuperBees are a couple of my dream cars!! I'm an all the way around Mopar guy, love the E and B-bodies, but i've also been tryin to find a decent A-body for a driver, like a second gen fast back Barracuda or Duster/Demon, then take my 68 Charger off the road and start restoring it. If you walked down thru the 70-71 Cuda modified row at Carlisle this year, or any of the last several years, you've probably seen my dads 'Cuda, Hemi-orange with black top and 440 hockey stick stripes with big tires out back. Yeah man, we go to Carlisle every year, no exceptions!!! If your goin next year we'll have to get together!!:bigthumb:
