Convincer1
New member
Hey guys I haven't been on the forum in awhile but a little back story I have inherited a 77 convincer from my father.( he is still with us), and I have begun a full extended restoration project. To include engine overhaul, floor and stringer replacement and full interior. Next winter I will be doing paint work from the rub rails up.
I'm looking for some advice on floor and stringer replacement, some tips and tricks to make it easier, and what type of materials to use.
I've read to use oakhum, marine ply, or coosa. I'm thinking of using coosa for the stringer and have thought about it for deck too.
With that being said any and all advice is greatly appreciated. Pictures are coming very soon
Thank you in advance
