This is the Cape Fear river. (Fayetteville NC) We are above the third lock and dam (William O. Huske). There is a good 15mi+ stretch of river between the lock and the boat ramp. We have found several sandbars for nice sandy swimming spots.


I would love to meet up with some other Checkmate owners here in NC.

That's great. Hard to tell which river it was since they all look the same here in Eastern NC - brown water and green vegetation right up to the shore.
