My passenger bucket seat seams that it has stripped its bolts from the floor. I can just pull the seat and post right of of the holes its bolted in to the floor. Does anyone have an idea how i can re attach and re mount the seat and post to the floor? Id like to use the same holes. Thanks.

im confused,
the bolts came out?
or the "furniture nuts" that are used are rotten away?
is your floor rotten?

I had some issues a few years back.. read this thread.

I had the same problem on the drivers seat. I had a piece of starboard cut I believe 1/2" thick maybe 3/4" thick that is 2'x2'. My carpet is dark blue and the piece is covered with a fabric that matched the floor. Holes were drilled where the pedestal bolts and the holes were set with threads.

I used lag bolts and secured the starboard to the floor then bolted the seat to the starboard. It looks like it came from the factory this way, it's secure and is attached and holds my 6'3" 240lb ass with no movement. I had replaced the pedestals due to the original ones being shot. I had to cut them down so the seats were the correct height.
