I just bought this boat. After a few weeks of ownership I just noticed just fwd
of the rear seat through the carpet i can see a parting line/seam. one on the left
and one on the right. This seam runs fwd to aft of the fwd seats. Is this a problem
with these boats. Is the floor wood. How much to fix. How to fix this problem or can
i live with this. Thanks for any help. Dave

any soft spots in the floor? if not the carpet may just need to be glued back down.[/QUOTE

The floor is raised on both sides where you see the parting line, the middle of the floor is level. If you climb into the boat and put your foot on the left or right side the floor is spongy. Raised maybe 1/4 of an inch

sounds like it is time for a floor. could you live with it? yes but it could lead to more issues later like the stringers starting to rot. on price it depends on damage. it could just be the floor but when you pull the floor you may find there is rot on the stringers as well. you may never know until the floor is pulled. many others have been through this and may have a better idea of cost.

Pull the carpet back to expose the floor. Take a picture of the area you're talking about. Chances are the floor is shot and/or someone attempted a quick fix. Depending on how bad the the floor is you're looking about $500-$1000 minimum to repair.
