96 211Pulse with 99 200 EFI Cheap!!

Wow, that's a nice price.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the difference between a Pulse 211 and a Pulsare 2100? I looked in the brochures in the gallery and they seem very similar. Is it a completely different hull/deck?

Rob

Completely different boats. The Pulse line are all pretty much the same, just get deeper/wider/longer as they go up from 170 to 211. The Pulsare 2100 was a unique hull that came out in 1994 that was lighter and lower than the Pulse of the same length.

The Pulsare 1600/1850/2000/2400 are newer and have replaced the Pulse line.

OK thanks for the info.

So would it be appropriate to say that the Pulse line replaced the Spectra line and the Pulsare replaced the Starflite/Starliner?

Absolutely correct. If you look at a 1992 Pulse 170 and a 1991 Spectra 170, you'll see a lot of similarities.
My Checkmate preferences actually run with the 1990 boats and newer with a few exceptions. The pre-1990 styles were cool but I do like the newer designs better. Some of the 1990's boats body styles were started in the very late 1980's.

For instance, I much prefer the Predictor II (started very late 1980's) over the original Predictor.

Still for sale

Hey guys.. i don't know all the details on the checkmate lines.. but can tell you that this boat is great in the chop! little deeper and heavier than many.. but you can sure feel the difference.. and its still for sale..
