97’ Convinsor 253 fuel pressure problems

Hey y’all,

I have a 97’ Convinsor 253, with an entirely new fuel system. The problem is they originally didn’t have a return line from the injection system. I have installed a fuel pressure regulator, but I’m not sure where to set fuel level. It’s a mr. gasket that’s numbered 1-6. I’m running a 454 mag built to 430 hp. I have it on 3 I’m assuming that’s 30 it’s still not getting to plane as fast as it did before return line was installed.

I'd put a pressure gauge on it and set it properly. Anything else your just guessing and risking bigger problems from running too lean.
