97 253 Transom material used?

Does anyone know what the Checkmate factory used in their transoms for wood in 1997? Pressure treated marine plywood or just regular marine plywood? I just had my 97 253 transom checked for moisture by a surveyor and he asked what is was made of. I don't have any issues but figured I'd have it done before resurrecting her for next year. It got a clean bill of health so I'm happy but was just curious if anyone knows the transom materials for this model.
