Alpha drive with 430hp

You will eventually spend the 2 grand regardless, becuase you will want to add this and do that, so what does it matter if it is now or later - but I do understand your point. My boat came with an automotive motor in it, which was a negative, but the rest of the boat was so clean that I went for it anyways. If the motor lets go, then there is my reason to get a more powerful motor.

my buddy has ran a 21' centurion with a built 350 chevy in it that supposedly makes 400 hp and hasn't blown up his alpha 1 yet and he drives it pretty hard, he isn't stupid with it but it has seen it's fare share and so far so good. I know it's only a small block and he doesn't hold it at WOT for hours on end but I would think you could buy it and drive it and be carefull and be fine, then decide if you want to upgrade the out drive. shane
