I haven't had my boat out for a month, and I'm getting REALLY antsy. Anyone planning to be out? Unfortunately I bet it will be BUSY on the river this weekend. Should be nice! :D

Busy on the river is fun some times.

I will be in Oscoda floating on the water around Old Orchard Park.

ill be on the river all weekend, i might even bust out the stand-up jetski..

i got a 4 day weekend so i will have all kinds of time to play!!

you should buy my boat and take that out :poke:

You want to take my Enticer in on a trade? :rof:
I'm honestly scared of I/Os... maybe I shouldn't be, but seems like there's a lot more things that can go wrong. I don't have a heavy duty tow vehicle either, and that thing's pretty heavy!

2300 pounds is heavy? lol i'd pull it with my wifes cobalt! once you have a i/o you wont be scared...plus you have a nice sundeck for girls to dance on:drool: theres not too much to go wrong on a boat thats this nice!!

I wasn't trying to say anything bad about your boat... it looks very nice! (and I do like the sundeck too)
Compared to my whole rig that weighs maybe 1200#, yes it's heavy. Is there little to no weight on the tongue?

How bout some more mates this weekend on the Saginaw... anyone? I don't know what day I'll make it up there yet.

haha i know you wern't. yea that is a lil heavier. not much tounge weight....all the weights in the back.

on a diff note....i'm thinking i might stop at the river on the way up sat morning....but i'll be in a enemys boat lol

If you're sure you'll be up there Sat morning, I can probably make that happen. I like getting there early so I can get back before dark.

Illbe up in Glennie Mich about 30 mins north westof oscoda. But may be down around cook dam sometime over the weekend But not really sure . Thats if my buddy comes up with his mate . If not ill just keep my mate docked at the house . Since all I will have to do is walk out the front door and step into my boat . Im heading up tomorrow after work my weekend starts a 5pm and ill be up there till tuesday afternoon .

yea whatever man! you gotta come run my stompin grounds while i'm busy runnin from the cops:devil::irked:(another thread)
damn wish i could meet you out there!

runnin from the cops? no good!! lol where is a good spot to get on torch lake.....never been up that way?

im staying in kalkaska and driving up that way

little over an hour from kalkaska to houghton....

from kalkaska to torch is about 1/2 hour.......

the best launch from there would be torch river.....it's right at the mouth of the river and you will put in right at the sand bar:D it's tough to get in and outa the launch but other than that you would have to call me so i could explain how to get to the other ones! pm me and i can tell you my cell number! we can talk.......-ross-
