hello, i have a nice 1995 135 mariner. is it worth modding at all, or should i sell it and get a bigger motor? going on a trv 17, i'm 300 pounds. want to go in the 60's
 
I would leave it stock, run it til you can pull it off and upgrade. A stock unmolested motor is always easier to sell.
