anyone with silent choice on a 454

someone plese help me out here I have a 1989 Maxxum with a 454 I am trying to instal a silent choice exaust for my wife while the boat is in peices. the part number they gave me for the Y pipe I have however it measures about 26" center to center the mainifolds measure 27 3/4" inches center to center. I am being told the Y pipe needs to be the same could someone please measure theres and tell me if this is the proper one. I want this Boat done it has been In peices for almost 2 months and costed me a fortune so far. Pictures of your instalation would be amazing also.
 
Congrats on the '89 Maxxum - I also have one but it's a twin, waiting for some TLC.
I'm pretty sure you can make that work with the offset hose couplers, manifold to diverter. It's less than 1" a side, so not too bad an offset is required.
