one question..........why would i pull my boat 3hours to boat on the sagnasty when i live 30min. from the 3rd most beautiul lake in the world:irked: you guys are CRAZY:shakehead:

You live 30 min from lake erie? why didnt you say so we could of been boating.:poke: lol oh im sorry erie is # 1 i think

Now, Ross that is a pretty poor picture of the Saginaw River. I will agree it is no Torch Lake, but the River is a pretty fun place to go boating.
 
Ross, any update on the forecast? I'm still seeing 70% chance sat and 50% sun...

Anyone have thursday or friday off? Going to be good weather....
 
I keep checking the weather for Glennie Michigan which is about 2hrs north of Saginaw and it keeps changing . Sunday was posed to be nice now it shows rain and earlier it showed sat and sun nice and sunny WTF . If I go up I want to get the boat out .
 
Its still looking like it might be wet up north... at least on Sat... sunday looks good, though- don't think I'll make that drive for one day of good weather:(

Around here its supposed to be windy today and maybe rain tonight, then be decent the rest of the weekend.:bigthumb: Probably be hanging at St. Mary's lake, or the Maumee river- maybe head to erie, if I want to get the superboat out.

Anyone in NW OH or southern MI feel like headin out on the maumee river, or lake erie this weekend?
 
Well... I got a few things done around the house, went to Columbus for an errand I've been putting off, went to a truck/tractor pull and watched a friend pull- he did decent, and I only got one day on the water!:brickwall:

I was planning on headin to erie and spending the night on the boat at PIB or Kelly's, but they were calling for gale force winds today and 9-12ft waves... oh well, we ended up going to the Maumee river and running yesterday afternoon with the superboat.

I tried out the 26p bravo prop that came with it.. not the right prop for this boat- at least for top end. I saw 74even on gps tuning around 5200rpm drivin the hell outta it to keep it straight. Too much stern lift! Its a decent all arounder, though with strong midrange- but thats about it.

Anyone else get to do anything?
