Here are a few pics of Bigg's Jetmate. The boat is currently in storage but there will be more to follow as the restoration progresses.

Well, here it is.

Not afraid to say I'm probably in way over my head. First, trying to identify this jet model #? any ideas? Secondly, title says it's a '71 serial #2552. I assume that the purple metal flake is original, black half*ssed interior is not. Where to start? I read that the factory now does restorations, I guess that would be a possibilty, worth it?

Anyway, the longest journey starts with the first step. So, here's to making something outa nothing.

P.S. Any info about any of this is greatly appreciated.

B.

Biggs,

Give Mike Combs a call at Checkmate. He should be able to give you a bunch of great info about your boat.

Did some more checking .....we started producing the jetmate in 1970 ...this boat was about the 10 th jetmate we built.....But we built more of these than i thought ...from 70 to 72 we built about 40 of them and built it up till 75-76 or something like that in this style or version.
