Bimini on Predictor (what was I thinking)

Interesting because I've been heading that way also. Any second thoughts to educate us? Do you like the width you chose, etc? I've been trying to decide if I want a 6' long which will barely cover my interior or an 8' that would cover enough extra to help no matter what the angle of the sun is.

If I do it too short, then your neck would still be red when you sit in the back..........OH, SORRY - Mine is already red.....

Yeah, nothing but second thoughts. I have not had a chance use it yet (to busy at work) I'll post results tomarrow. The top I purchased is made for a ski boat so it is only 30" tall and only 5ft long and 74 inches wide I think. I have it centered in the front seats and when laid down it rest perfectly on the rear seat back rest out of the way.

OK, the bimini is never coming off! We went out for five hours today and did not get a sunburn. I could run 45mph with the top up an it keep me in the shade the whole time. When the boat is in the water the top dose not look as bad too. Good times

I can't see the picture. I've been wanting one on my predictor for those day's. all I see is the red X in the box. what gives?

Although I will never take a picture of the boat with the bimini on, I have to admit that it is nice to get out of the sun and enjoy the breeze. I really don't like cruising with mine simply because the wind rattles the fabric against the tube and it sometimes makes an unpleasant sound. I would not even consider going beyond 40 as I can almost see the aluminum tubing bending as the speed increases.

The wife demands it, I'll accept it, but when she and the kids are gone, the bimini comes down and the fuel consumption dramatically increases. :)
