Book review: Runabout Renovation

Pelly

New member
Just got this book from amazon.com - "Runabout Renovation" by Jim Anderson. Has pretty good instructions on how to do 'glass and cosmetic repairs. It's quite clear and he makes fairly specific recommendations on what materials to use for repairs. I'm starting to replace the foor on my MX15 and this book is a big help. I'd recommend it to any beginners like myself.

I am also in the process of installing a new floor.
Thanks for the info!!
Also, there are many board members who have gone down this same path. Another great resource!!

Good Luck with your project!

That is a great book about repairing boats. Another one to try is The Fiberglass Boat Repair Manual by Allan H. Vaitses. They go into alot about core replacement.

A book I really enjoyed was the old outboard book written by Peter Hun. It's also available from Amazon which is where I got it from.

A little side note for y'all. If you click on the Amazon banner and order something, the board gets a small commission and it costs you nothing.

Ditto for Ebay if you click the banner and bid on something. And ditto for Overton's, click the banner and purchase something and we get a small commission.
