cant remove 1984 115 IL 6 crankshaft

i have the powerhead down to nothing but the crank, connecting rods and pistons on my bench. i cant seam to get my crank to pull out. do i hace to remove anything from the crankshaft its self (connecting rods or the top half of the 2 middle bearings to axcess more bolts?) the crank and pistons turn freeley but it woun pull out
