Yes correct and if you ordered a enchanter in 89’ it was a special order .and it’s wasn’t in the 89’ brochure ..I believe your correct about the eluders also .It's been a few years since I paid attention to this but, I was watching it closely back then.
A few(something like 5 and all were some version of Black and Red) Enchanters were made in 89, But Entertainers, Eluders and Exciters all seemed to stop at 88 or even sooner 86/87.
I/O VERSIONIt also depends on if you are talking I/O or outboard version as the I/O version of the Eluder stopped earlier than the OB.
I remember working on one or two Eluder I/O's in 87 or 88 in that era. It wasn't an every day boat. They had to bring the molds in from the barn.I've never seen a I/O Eluder come up for sale newer than 86 and I don't think they were in the sales brochure after 86 either.
I bought an 82 I/O Eluder in 93 and kept it for 20+years, was always looking at what was for sale in the same category during that time frame.
Barry What years did you work for checkmate ?I remember working on one or two Eluder I/O's in 87 or 88 in that era. It wasn't an every day boat. They had to bring the molds in from the barn.
Started in late 86-87, but was in and out of there so much, I really have lost track at this point.Barry What years did you work for checkmate ?
