that should be black plastic with silver outline. it looks like it was hit with the buffer.

i used some plastic polish on mine and then trimmed the high spots with silver paint.
 
Its polished looks way better now I just need to put the paint on but still waiting on a reply of how it is supposed to look.

everything that is 3d the chess knight the outline should all be a silver or a chrom color mine on the enchanter is chrom so i would say as close as you can come to that

Make it any color you want. I like to think outside the box and add my own custom ideals to my boats. I would color key the 3-D portion to your boat. Just my $.02
 
I got the name plate sticker remade with a custom touch instead of white lettering I got silver. It is also a upgrade from the vinyl sticker it is 2 layers of harder plastic and it is etched with a laser to cut away the top layer(black) to show the bottom layer(silver) beneath. I just need to finish painting the plates and put the parts together. 1st picture is the old one other is new.

 
I dug out the old brochure and scanned the logo for you.

It's a little pixelated looking in the largest size due to resizing it, but hopefully it helps. :)

My emblem on my 76 Trimate II is all black and my and 77orangetrimateII his is all black also . I asked my dad How his looked since he bought a Trimate II brand new is 77 he said his was all black also . So I dont know if some were silver and some were black ??? :confused:
 
My 1983 enchanters are all black also...it kinda looks like theyve always been that way but im not sure...:confused:
 
My 1979 21' and also my 1985 19' enchanter was black with silver. Both were outboards and had recesses for them. My I/O enchanter deos not have one or a recess for it. Did only the outboards have the decals?
 
I think it looks pretty good. I was curious as to how did you removed yours and what you used to put it back on with? Many thanks.
