"Wanted" Checkmate Enticer

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a Checkmate Enticer in a condition anywhere from project to decent. If you have one or know somewhere to look it would be greatly appreciated. I am in Hamilton, Ontario

How serious are you? I have an '86 Enticer, red metal flake with a 150 Mariner that I may consider depending on price. I have done a lot of work and kind of in the middle of it. New transom, floor, stringer, some core has been replaced. The interior that is there (not complete) is all new. I am in the middle of building the rear bench seat, I have all new gauges but they need to be installed and wired, and a few other odds and ends. Trailer is also included. Don't know where I'd be on price.

Please look at my thread that says 82 Enticer. I have a nice one for sale with a 90 Merc. I would like it to find a new home before winter.

I'm pretty serious. My Panther V-Mate has serious problems that need to be repaired.

See this thread.

I would like to buy a Checkmate boat that is a bowrider (Enticer or Diplomat as i have kids) that would fit in my garage and that would tide me over until my Panther is repaired

I am going to take my time looking, I have until next spring to purchase, and it is a boat that I would eventually like to restore as well so I want it to be worth it. I have a working motor and trailer so I would even just take the boat all by itself, but Boat + Trailer without motor is my ideal combo.

I'm in Ontario, so I don't know what I have to consider about taking any boat back accross the border. If anyone could chime in on that it would be great.
