Checkmate helped start Sunsation

Thanks, I saw that boat at channel. I really like the color combo.

I originally thought I would buy a Sunsation, but back in '05 couldn't put the right deal together at Shep's. Not long after, the local Checkmate dealer said and did all the right things and we bought. HAVEN"T BEEN SORRY!!!:thumb:

yup, thats the boat. the sunsation you looked at, was it the 288? if so we tryed to deal on that as well back in 05, but they wouldnt do anything.
you get your mate threw paogus (sp) bay? thats where mine came from. they are no longer a mate dealer tho. closest one now is CT that i know of?:brickwall:

We were prob. looking at the same boat! Yes, i did go through Paugus Bay. They have been great to work with! Its too bad they are no longer a dealer. With the speed limit I doubt they would try to bring it back either. Maybe when the time comes they can still order new one?? No sunsation on the lake either. Fountain has no real dealership ( Goodhue/flightcraft??)

it probably was the same boat. baja is the only thing up there. i know they flood the lake with them, and thats why we got the mate, and wanted the sunsation, but couldnt deal. we looked a a few other boats including new mates, but now one could come to the price we wanted to pay. the closest mate was in CT with a 375 hp 26ZT new 09 i think and they wanted 68,000 we got them to 64k we got the 26 outlaw with big motor and more options for alot less then that. it was a no brainer. its another baja on the lake, but to save 5k and still have a great boat. oh well, hopefully the colors will set it apart a bit:thumb:

friends of ours still have there 24 ZT up there its parked one boat over from my dads, its a white/black/purple 04
