Composites questions

Ok so im no where near ready to start buying but figure ill start asking anyway. Have any of you ever worked with any of the light weight honey comb type composites for replacing core or other parts with? The enforcer is going to be rigging heavy so i would like to keep it structurally light and strong! I have been doing some reading and i like the idea of less wood to have to worry about but at the same time removing wood gets pricy... By everything i have read i am thinking that i can probably get away with using this stuff for all of the cuddy structures and maybe even the cockpit floor. It is as light as balsa and stronger than plywood. But idk if i can mount stuff to it will. Also where to get it might be an issue. I dont remember where we got the stuff that i worked with back in school at all..

Anyway just looking to start conversation and see what you all think! This boat is not going to be getting done anytime soon as i have been too busy with other stuff to even start on it really. But i like to think about it!
