Cumberland Trip!

Heres a few pics that were fit to print of my latest Cumberland trip.Third trip house boatin' Good friends,Good food,Good Drink and High Times
Nice trip I'd advise anyone to GO FOR IT! We found a deal 4 nites 5 days = $120 x 7 plus $20 a peice for the fuel! Not bad at all

Took an hour to stack all that firewood,Then the damn drunks went and lit the thing at 5 in the afternoon!

With the repairs going on to the earthen part of the dam the water is being kept at very low levels.And at the end of summer its at its lowest piont anyway.
I prefer to go in early summer when the water is high(I've seen it right to the tree line),But at that time there is a lot of floating Debri i.e. Firewood come fall!

The repairs will be ongoing for a few more yrs.So the houseboat company's will be offering specials during that time.

I did evenually found the party cove on friday but dogschool did't make down to saturday! and I was on my way home by then!

It looks like a mini sausage festival...where are the women?

All kidding aside, if the weather permits we may try to get one
more weekend on Lake Cumberland in at the end of October and
the women will probably choose to stay home, when sunbathing
isn't an option and the water too cold for a swim they are not as
cooperative, which sucks because after a hard day of boating and
drinking I like to sling my leg over my ol' lady and use up the last
bit of my energy for the evening, there aint nothin' like some good
cuddy cabin lovin'!!

Hey Merc, next season we need to make a Checkmate weekend on
Cumberland happen, I know our crew of 'mates are in (we are there
at least 5 weekends per season) and I suspect yellowfiero88 will
join us and lcboater is always there and if you and a couple of the Erie
'mates come down we could get up to 10 of us there on same weekend
and that'd be cool! Don't be shy Ohio/Michigan mate's, all are welcome!

Wheres the Women,Been waiting for that one. Thats what we were thinking ourselfs all week.Guess you need to bring EVERYTHING WITH YOU including the girls! Besides no one would want to see my party girls now,thier old!

Besides they would be only good for one thing,gathering the firewood!
