Delaware River-next weekend

Planning to be there - should be open for both days as of now.
Let's see who else is in.....

High tide is 3pm, Low tide at 9:45am at Burlington on Saturday.
45 mins later for each of those on Sunday.

So unfortunately the sandbar at Bordentown won't be an option.

Tullytown is always an option (had a great few hours there recently with Ram and the families) or further south......

Man, I'd love to, but my tow vehicle probably wouldn't make the trip..:brickwall:

There'll be other times Brad.
This is my 5th time out here this season. Since moving a bit further south late last year (only 20mins), I'm gettin on this stretch of water more often than the lakes. Hopatcong, Greenwood and Burlington are all about 1hr-1hr15mins from me now.
Lots more miles to run on the river though and doesn't get as busy as the lakes this time of year.

See Ya 11ish! Got spare seats if anyone wants to come. Gonna have to leave 2'ish for Adam party.
Was out to philly today. Smoooth...2 inch chop. All the way. Went with a bud who had serious back surgery and we hit low 70's. Hung, gawked, harassed amphibious Duck Boats.
Never seen a smoother day on the Delaware.
Won't have that kind of spare time tomorrow. Or conditions.
Nonetheless, hadda gloat.
See ya tomorrow.
My favorite quotation from my friend with major back fusions (a former sprint-car driver) " Go faster". At 73 (gps) I was still airing out and accelerating when there were wakes up ahead and I hadda chop it down for fear of banging and hurting other. Or death.
At least I had the kill cord around my throttle wrist.
Didn't know it went that fast. Laura's screaming has always kept it somewhat conservative.

Awesome day on Saturday!

Got to hang out with Sim and his Mrs for a few hours at Tullytown before the storm clouds rolled in early afternoon - just as Sim had to head home. Unfortunately we were all too busy chatting to get any pictures.
We managed to get south of the incoming storm clouds to see them off from the ramp without getting too wet.

Then our crew (my family and my daughters best friends family) headed south to find a beach (with tide nearly full in, there weren't many options) and hopefully some sunshine for a few more hours.

Luck was on our side and we hung out at a small beach for a few hours before heading for home. Kids had a blast.
We may have introduced another few big and little people to the joys of boating!
