Favorite Mate of all Time Vote

okay lets just try this... Which is your favorite Checkmate?? These were the top nominees s

its a tuff choice ,but i went predictor route cuz thats where my 1st intrest of checkmates stemmed from ! my families always been into boating power /sail too! :surf:

You know what would be a cool boat? If they took THE classic closed deck checkmate (starflite), but put some seating in the front without ruining the lines. Really big long seats. I vote for that one...

I would have voted for enchanter/entertainer had it been on the list. Lacking that... well hell, easy second choice, I own one...

I went with starflite/liner, mainly cause I have one and they just look cool, mates arent common down here so it always gets looks.

Almost went with convincor, cause I want to upgrade to a convincor or similar (non Baja) syle power boat in the next few years hopefully something in the 24-30' range.

Owned a lot of Checkmates over the years, loved them all,but the only favorite for me is my first one,my 1969 V-141,solid Apricot Fireflake, short shaft 1250 Merc,I bought it new. I cannot imagine what I might pay to own it again.

I always wanted a Black Sportfire with red flake mist and all the panels trimed with red flake that is a sharp boat.:rof: Taped off a few of them. Could never aford one though.

Lets be realistic and not in fantasy land, may I suggest the favorite Checkmate you have owned. Mine was the V-mate II great metal flake in the gel, fresh interior, larger cockpit area, ran close to 60 mph, easy to tow, I loved that boat and miss it every day. No sense in dreaming of boats I havnt had/will never have, would rather dream about women.

I settled for the Pulsare because the Enforcer was not on the list! But the 2400 Pulsare was made from an Enforcer, so that will be close enough. boatman:bigthumb:
