I've asked for it all over the US and no one has it, it's always the same response, "oh that's just like chili cheese fries" no it's not, poutine doesn't have chili on it!

In NY/NJ its cheese fries with gravy. Never had any place try to put chili on it though.

French fries covered w/curds(cheeze)and topped w/white or brown gravy.
Just delicious,but dont eat to much or you'l have to reajust the belt.

First place I ever seen it was burger king about 10 - 15 years ago, I asked for it at burger king in Vegas and she looked at me like I was on crack.
