gary the boatman and his hustler prop's

gary , my dads got a 65' 65hp merc the prop is stuck/ froze on , any suggestions its a 3blade alm. w/ rubber hub ? plus what do you recomend for a new prop its a 15p we got him the cmc tilt trim ,plus he gained 5" of set back so he's lookin for that xtra mph ! (he used to race small 9' or 11' wood boats w /20 hp mercs ) he's excited with it .

You may try some pb blaster to get the prop off. If he is looking for an aluminum prop, there is only 1 choice. The Hustler! They are by far, the fastest, best hooking, best performing aluminum prop on the market! And they are now available for merc hubs. boatman

I need help. Bought a 95 pulsare 2100 a couple of weeks ago and am having a hard time getting the thing on plane. It has a 10" manual plate and I am running 1 inch below pad. Have tried several props from 21 to 26 and motor heights. Today I had the best luck with 4 blade 21 pitch, but it still took a long time. motor turns at about 2000rpm for 2 or 3 seconds before it winds up. I have a 225XRI merc 1995. what do you suggest i do?

Thanks,

Rob
