Prices for gas on the water here in mn. are usually .75 to 1.00 higher per gallon than what you pay on the road. also most of the launches in my part of the state are paved with 2 docks and plenty of parking. It's nice here in the upper midwest!!

Checked with the local marina ( only one on Glen Lake with gas) , $3.55 a gal. for regular . Ouch !!! Will continue to fuel up on shore this year .

Erik and Senator, if boats ran on booze, we would have to drink gas! Now the thing I don't understand is...."How can the price of fuel go UP, lets say, 10 cents during a week, when the gas station HAS NOT RECEIVED A NEW SHIPMENT OF FUEL YET DURING THAT WEEK!! They are charging more for "OLD" gas that they have already paid for in the ground!! I could understand a 2-3 cent raise if they got "NEW" gas dropped in their tanks. Think about it. Would you pay $1.25 for a beer from a keg one day then have to pay $1.75 for the same beer from THE SAME KEG the next??? It is already bought and paid for by the owner, where does the price increase come from everyday for the same batch of fuel? Any opinions/hypothisis guys-n-gals?

There should be laws against what the gas stations do . I call it profiteering or gouging the customer .

Up on the Connecticut river the gas prices vary. Down by the sound they are like $3 a gallon, up river more i pay about $2.39 a gallon about $23 to fill up for me, so its not to bad
