Gear lube Reservoir

Anyone have a mercruiser gear lube reservoir bottle laying around?
Just need the plastic bottle, older round one.

Mine cracked last year, WHAT A MESS! I looked for a round one and finally gave up. I got the Merc replacement rectangle bottle. It was $100, which is rediculous, but solved the problem. Aftermarket billet bottles cost much more.

Looks like free Comfort bottle is best bargain. Remove fitting from damaged Merc part and install in bottom of drilled Comfort bottle. Duct tape (in an attractive color) and a zip tie are probably the only additional materials needed and you are right back on the water....

Still looking for a replacement, but for $5 and 5 mins I have one very sexy pink water bottle lube reservoir. Theres no way I'm paying crazy money for a mercury plastic bottle. Theres junk boats laying around I should be able to get one off of.

RD planning covert operation at residence of twin Merc motored vessel. Affluent owner of twin probably planning billit accessories anyway. Like the sound of your new custom unit.

For the right financial encouragement I could slide down to someones storage unit in the middle of the night and remove one for you. :poke:although that wouldn't be in my best interest because if I wanted to go boating it would require a trip to Maryland.
