Getting a merc

So last fall I sold the evenrude that was giving me some problems, and this winter I bought a Mercury 200 2.5L carb!
I'm a long term merc fan, and the colours match by boat perfectly!
Normally when I'm posting on here it's with bad news or me asking for help, so I figured I'd post some exciting news for a change, with some pics. Because we all love pictures.

Here's the motor being installed.

The motor on the shelf. The cowling is from a 175 xri with some of the stickers replaced. image_zpscsjx6maw.pngimage_zpspzkkdaue.png
And here are a few vacation pictures from last year before number 2 and 6 cylinder decided to go on vacation.

I went a little over board too and got a hot foot, and turn signal style trim switch.
It's gonna be a fun summer!

Updated pics.

I picked up my boat and new to me motor late last week. The motor is not operational yet. The carbs need to be tuned and balanced still. But it's still pretty exciting to have it home. Now I can remove the old gauges and polish the dash, and install new gauges.

I have a depth gauge coming yet for the empty hole.
One other thing... I'd like to get a different steering wheel. I'd like it to be a checkmate wheel if that's possible. I came across this one a while back and I wanted to see if anyone had a wheel like this kicking around.

I've asked kipp from checkmate and he no longer has any. Any information to help me track one down would be great!
