Hello Boating Friends.
Two months ago I got my first boat (I am still a wannabe) a Grady White 20' Dolphin for a dollar. My best friend was in an accident and is paralyzed and said "Irv you can have it, enjoy!) That was 12 years ago and the boat was in the woods and out of the water since '94. I have been working hard on getting it back to a usable condition and it has been lots of fun and hard work. I really appreciate this site, the designers, the friends that have given helpful comments and the good info. Had the boat out on Lake Marion in sc several times and plan a trip through the 80 foot locks to Charleston in spring. have pics from start to not quite finished however the '76 evenrude 200 v6 purrs like a kitten and pushes me about from 45 to 50 mph.
Starting over from an accident a while back so can't afford a checkmate (unless i can find one for a dollar) at this time but won't stay this way forever. I may be broke but I am not poor. Poor is a stare of mind..... however I can fix broke
Keep those usefull thread coming!
