Got lucky and destroyed a prop today

I bring my boat in to work sometimes. Occasionally i need to bring some of the guys out to do service work on some water discharge lines we have running out into the river. They buy me a tank of gas and a gallon of oil . Good deal for them and for me and since I'm the guy who signs off these things it works out well. Anyhoo I'm dragging a 6 inch PVC line out and the stern swun around and the prop smacked the PVC line and mangled my prop. I threw my aluminum prop on this morning just in case and I'm glad I did. My two week old 4 blade Solas 21 pitch just got toasted which is really fine with me since that prop wouldnt push me past 53 MPH at 6000 RPM. Hell, my 17 pitch 4 blade Solas stainless prop will hit 52 MPH at 6050. Good riddance I say. Now the guy who signs stuff ( me ) gets to buy me a new 22 pitch Raker prop.
