Hey guys GREAT site. I was wondering what gps any of you used. I am looking to get one before spring and was wondering what one is best for marine use? or if you have an opinion on brands or models. Thanks

Welcome 87enforcer! Another Michigan Checkmate boater, we're still the most!! I don't know which GPS is the BEST for marine use, but I'm keeping my eye on the price of the Garmin 276C.......

It's about the most full featured hand held full mapping GPS out there. It's dual use, street mapping and marine mapping.
 
I have a Garmin, its the new 60C color it is awesome and you can see it in direct sunlight, I have it mounted right near the steering wheel on a garmin mount setup and can operate it with no problems great with navigation charts. I transfer it in to my truck when im done a day of boating ..Check it out on their web site.
