Just thought I'd let everyone know September 17th is the boards 1st Birthday.

September 17, 2002 was the day I started the old EZboard, which makes us 1 year old on Wednesday.

It's been nice meeting and chatting with all you nice folks from all over North America and now even Europe too!

Happy Birthday Checkmate-Boats.com!

As a new member I like to be the first to send my congratulations to the boards first

birthday.

I am from germany and just recently bought myself a 1986 enforcer 24´.It got a 454 merc engine with 330 hp and a velvet-racing-drive.I haven´t had it in the water yet but I make up for it on the weekend.

Since the season is allmost over in germany I`m looking forward to restore the paint, the gelcoat and parts of the interior this winter.Technics seem to be in great shape so I guess I won´t have to do much on it.But I`ll find out next weekend.

I`ll keep you folks posted once in a while and ad some pics of "before and after".

Have a nice time

Yes great site & your doing great job at running site-Chris. Has not seemed so easy lately, but alot of things good are not easy! Keep up the great work & the emails were nice touch. Site will be nice consolation to winter BLUES! :thumb:

Bubba,

Thanks for the kind words!

The site is a lot of fun in the winter. Especially for all us northern snow birds. Everyone has a lot more free time to hang out and chat. And the previous summers pics that people post are a great remedy for the winter blues!
