Hooking up Speedo and trim

Deluge

New member
first things First. this is a great site, Glad I found it..I have driving this boat for a year now and always wanted the Speedo trim and Gas gauge to work. I am guessing it is not hooked up since i see a few cuoples un hooked . just dont know where they go. Boat is a predictor 79 i beleive, its just a beautiful boat

I can help with the speedo, there should be a tube under the dash. It runs from the gauge to the speedo pick up located on the transom. If the tube is hooked up, then there is a problem with the gauge. If the tube was broke you would have water all over the place.
Welcome to the board.

Thanx.. Ill look at this this weekend. I wish i would have found this site a year ago when i bought this boat..great place finding other Checkmate owners that love their boat
