Hey guys, I`ve started to look into getting a performance boat. Of course, marketing being the way it is, I`ve looked at Baja first, but then stumbled upon a local Checkmate dealership at the local boat show. I want to buy a 2100 closed deck with a 300xs. What are your experiences with buying used. I plan on buying the boat and keeping it for a long time, being from Canada, boats stay in good shape for a long time. Your thoughts please.

I think you will have a tuff time finding that boat/motor combination used without doing some traveling.......if at all.

Buying a Checkmate in the USA

I'm also from Canada. Send me a PM if you have any interest in buying a new or used Checkmate in the US. I brought in a new Pulsare 2100 BR with a 250 ProXS last year so I have some idea of the good, the bad and the ugly with respect to that process and Checkmate in general.

That's all I can think about. Thanks for all the feedback, it seems like everyone on this forum is very satisfied with their boats. The wait is driving me insane. I will probably put my order through in January or so. I'm sorting through members pictures to get ideas. I'm thinking full yellow, white interior, dark tinted windshield.
