how to get stickers off gelcoat?

Hey everyone i need to know how to get my old boat license number off the gelcoat to put my new license numbers on? i dont want to use any thinner because i am afraid it will damage or null the gel finish! Thanks

you could use a hair dryer warm them up and use a small plastic putty knife ***be gentle***and clean with goo-be-gone or some rubbing alcohol on a clean cloth

gone and done worked great the only hard part was to pry the hair dryer from my lady's hands trying to tell her i was going to use it for machanical purposes,but all worked good, thanks!
