Hey folks, new guy here dropping in to say Hi!

My girlfriend just bought a 25 Outboard Convincor (I think). Since Im going to be the wrench spinner, I figured it may be wise to register here and give things a look.

I grew up boating and currnetly in the stable I have a Cigarette 28ss, a Seadoo Speedster, and an Ocean Express mini cat (project in the works). The concept of an outboard offshore boat is new to me so Im sure Il be posting loads of questions on here in the near future.

outboard convincer

what yr is the hull? is it single or twin o/b. some of the early ones had problems with the transoms. buddy of mine had an 85 with twin 2.4's and transom started to come apart, boat had to go back to factory for new transom. have to say factory did excellent job on repair!! I think this was 1 of the frist with o/b's with brackets though. sounds likes you have the rest down!!

Im wanting to say its an 82 with a single. Ive been aquainted with the previous owner for roughly 5 years and the entire transom has been replaced. Motor is a 99 with 5ish hrs on rebuilt powerhead. One of my friends is a Checkmate dealer (Kunkels Marine) and he tells me that there were only a couple of theese made. I live about an hour away from Bucyrus and several of my close friends work for Baja.
