I am the proud new owner of a 1984 Checkmate Diplomat with a 150 hp V-6 Mariner disguised as a 135hp. Ran the engine before I bought her, and it runs fine. No detectable misfiring and a new lower unit. She needs to be re-wired and a lot of TLC, but overall she's salvageable. I am actually really excited about this!! --Stan

Shhhhhhhh! :sssh:

Don't let the CG find out! :thumb:

I don't care----they gotta catch me first. :D lol

My new motto "No Flares, No Extiguisher, No whistle, No lifejackets, No worries". :thumb: J/K , of course.

I am looking forward to more posts and a lot of help from the experts on this forum as I fumble my way through all the repairs and repairing all the previous inept repairs.
