Another rough day on the water today. ~78 degrees for a high, with a light breeze.

Put a 29P Yami T1 prop on to replace my 25P Yami T1 and jacked the mota up as far as I could, about another 1" and let er rip! Definitely faster!!! Wrapped my 75 MPH speedo around, but could still only turn 5400 RPM's with the bigger prop. Need more set back and another inch higher with the motor. I really need to get a GPS to see actual #'s but if I'm not teetering just above 80MPH I'll be suprised. Good day!!!

Here's some more pics. Ya'll get tired of my Pulsare before MAY! Guaranteed!!!!!!

It's nice to put a face with a name so here's me n Mrs. BADBK.

VEEERRRRRRYYYYYYYY nice looking Pulsare

and i see you've already got the speed itch.Always liked those Yammy's.Be safe and keep up the quest for speed.
Chris

I just checked to see what gear your motor has. It's a 1.75. At 5400 rpm with a 25" prop and 10% slip, you should be running about 65 mph. Take a handheld GPS with you. I still have 3 left for $88. Shipping included. It's easier to see exactly what works when you can read the speed by tenths of a MPH.

Running a 29P Yami T1 right now to 5400. I was turning the 25 to 6k.

The 29P computes to 76.3 ish.... the 25 computes to 74 @ 6K.

I know I need to get a gps and really know, tryin to decide which one to get. Would like the Garmin GPSMAP 476 w/blue charts and the whole works. marine and auto.

Randy, you have any setback brackets that'll work for me. Looking to go back about 10-12" so what will work with my 5.5" cmc manual jackplate?

New setbacks are about $425 in aluminum [not powdercoated] Shipping included. I also have brand new 10" CMC jackplates for $225
This is a 12" setback with a 4.5" hyd plate

which would be the better way to go? I'd like to get the motor a bit higher at the same time and I'm jacked all the way up on my current one.

With my setback brackets, I have 4"-6" built into it. The 21 Checkmate transom is way too low, so I make it up in the bracket.
Here's a 15" setback with a 5" lift

Dat's purdy! How much? plus rigging if I drove over? And ya can't talk ***** bout the Yami while it's there:rof:

The 19-12" is $425 plus $75 if you want it coated. You know you're gonna listen to me crap on the Yamadog! Maybe I'll take one of my 21's out with a 225 Opti and clean your Yammi's clock! HeHeHe!

 Don't make me tie a rope to your house and have the YamiMONSTER drag it into the ocean!!! Oh, and I'll still have a full tank o gas when I get back! :bounce:

Seriously, the 4.5" hyd plate w/8" setback bracket coated installed. $$$.$$??

Oh, and I get to take that $160K Lib out for a beat run while you get dirty!

You guys suck. It was just FINALLY warm enough here on Thursday and Friday where I could seriously think about working on the boat this weekend, and nature gives me rain the rest of the weekend. ALL weekend. ugh.

Btw, Badbk your pulsare is one of the best color combos I've seen around. very nice.
