Hello all,
It has been awhile since I've been here and even longer since I have been into the boating scene at all. Reason for my absence was pretty much caused by my being disgusted at having the the heat in our garage go bad and cause the engine block to crack on a boat.
Needless to say that I was upset. Upset after all i went thru including dragging it up here from south carolina on a trailer that was literally rusted in half. Upset after spending hours fixing all its mechanical flaws and at least another week sanding and polishing the gelcoat.
All it needed at the time was a new interior and a better trailer. So there she sat, Sat until I had the time and money to replace the motor and get it back to where it was before the big freeze occurred.
So now I am back. And I am getting myself ready for spring to replace the motor and get her back on the waves.
I just recently picked up a mercruiser 5.7 that I bought from a machine shop. I am getting ready to order the exhaust manifolds and risers and just put them all away till the big day comes.
So yeah, Im back, but not yet.
