I'm now a two boat owner!!

JUPITER PULSARE

Well-known member
While my Pulsare in under reconstruction (as of today the floor, tank, stringers and gunnel storage bins have been removed and we're grinding the excess glass off to prepare for the new Mantex Stringers to be installed) I just purchased a 21' Talon with a Merc 2.5 off of Ebay. Boat is bad azz looking and came with a spare Merc 200, trailer, Hyd steering, Detweiler Hyd. Jack plate, etc. Now I just need to ship it to Florida from Rhode Island....any body coming to Florida on vacation??????

That Talon is supposed to be a very nice hull! Be interesting to see which one you prefer for the waters you run in.

Boat is solid red with black/white racing flag graphics on the deck and running down the sides. The seats are solid white. I'll post pictures once I get the boat to Florida. It's definitly one bad azz looking boat.

The Talon came with a great prop. It's a Quicksilver Chopper..#48 13372A5 with a 28 pitch and labbed finished by DAH....I may have to try it on the Pulsare to see if my 225 can spin it!

Ran my Talon for the first time on Sunday. What a monster!! The 2.5 ran like a champ and pulls like a tank. I made the mistake of forgetting my sunglasses. At 79 mph I had to back down cause I couldn't see any longer and thought my contacts were going to rip out!!!! Still had another grand on the tach to go!!! The accelleration is phenominal. The lack of hyd. steering, however, was tough on the arms at speeds in excess of 60 mph. Time to invest in some goggles!!

Talon in the Water

Here's a shot from this sunday of the Talon. I think the boat enjoys being back home in Florida waters!!

Hey Claupie, that picture was taken on the intercoastal waterway just north of Jupiter Lighthouse. There's a sandbar that becomes totally dry at low tide and everyone pulls there boats on the bar and has a good time. Dogs, kids, bikinis, bar b ques, etc.
