Informal Poll on Wind Deflectors

I'm interested in the low profile windscreen but it has same dimensions as the regular one.
Looking for a screen only 2 to 3" tall
Yes, all the screens are the same. 8" X 18" or longer. The only difference in the upright and the low profile is the J-bracket that attaches to the bracket which attaches to the windshield frame like the Checkmate has. If you used the upright on your windshield, it would do almost nothing as it would lay at the same angle as the windshield. The J-bracket allows the deflector to stand at an upright angle to your windshield, thus deflecting the wind up and over your head.

If I read this correctly, you are looking for very short deflectors, like 2-4" tall X 18" or longer. If so, we can have shorter screens cut, say 2-4" tall if that is what you would like. Not sure how well it would work, but I do know a guy that has some 6 1/2" tall screens and he told me that they work fine for his application. Obviously, the shorter the height, the less wind gets deflected. My 8" tall screens push the wind up about 18-24" above my head when sitting, but my windshield is farther away from me than most boats. My old Checkmate windshield was much closer, so shorter might work fine.

It would take an extra week to get them done that way, but it is doable.
