interior lighting

rjstarr, dude your boats on fire!!! the lights look crazy cool with those flames.

my LED's are sitting on the bench but they are not on my "honey do" list :( i plan to light the cockpit and under the hatch

Thanks, It turned out great. It was easy, all I did was zip tie the rope light under the side wall and around the engine hatch. There is already wires mounted up there so why make it difficult? Took about 15 minutes and half a bag of zip ties. I also put Blue weather proof LED lights on my trim tabs (I don't dare drill into the hull) It looks sweet at night, plus I can adjust the tabs to shine the light up or down in the water. I will try to get a good picture of that this weekend.

That is waaaaay cool. I just bought the blue rops for under the gunwale and blue attwood LEB transom light for under the swim steps. It is going to look so bad azz sitting at the docks. I also bought enough to run along the "rib" under the front deck, in the snooze locker.

I went a different road though, at the suggestion of some one that knows this stuff, but isn't supposed to tell you, cuz then he'd have to kill you, I also have RED to run under the gunwale and under the foredeck, right next to the blue. The military uses red at night, because it doesnt mess with your light vision....so when under way, it's gonna look wierd, BUT, most importantly....I will always be able to find my beer and still see over the bow.

They don't blind me at night at all. They just light up the lower part of the cockpit. My buddy has the same lights in red inside his boat. They are not nearly as impressive as the blue.
