Is 100MPH within reach

ZT 260: Congratulations on an awesome!! set-up. You must have an even better set-up at home, to let you play like that... Nice job.

ZT26,
I saw your boat at Performace marine this year? There is A guy with A 28 zt I met last year up at Lake George that runs in the mid 90s. I no Jason straightened out his procharger and probely has his phone number.I think the guys name was Ken?Maybe he could help with A setup?
Dave

That's my boat at performance marine all right.

I am very well versed with Ken's ZT280. His problems were somewhat different. Handling issues forced him to run a 1.26 ratio drive. We have already learned everything we can from Ken's boat.

But he just spun a bearing so that block is toast. Maybe the next block will add some MPH.

Hey guys, help him out, guys cool as hell, we see him out quite a bit on the upstate husdon. Awesome ride. There's a Progression I'd like to see him go by.

I second that J.B, I would like to see him blow the progression out of the water, can't wait to see the 260 next year......

Brian,

send me a copy of your avatar pic and I'll load it up for ya.

I don't think I've noticed the progression you guys are talking about. What color and length is it and any idea on top speed?

Scotty, I need more power!

It's white and teal,26'? used to be called "strokin" Too light for rough water, but on slight chop, I think he's in the high 90's, what to you think Brian?

Now that sounds like some real competition. I do recall a boat called strokin. I didn't know it was a progression.

Did this guy rub someone the wrong way?

Scotty, I need more power!

Yeah I think the progression is in the high 90's if not over. Love to see the checkmate go by. No he didn't rub me the wrong way, I would just like to see a checkmate as the fastest v-hull on the river.By the way ZT260 are shaun and julie still together, I haven't seen them in a long time.

The fastest v-hull is the goal. It's nice to see who the competition is. I'm sure you will see Sean and Julie in the spring.

As for the Sonic-
Been there done that. He won't even race me anymore. I guess it’s too embarrassing.

Scotty, I need more power!

Its only a single, motor barks

. You can beat him in rough water, no ? in my mind but on calm water he will get you as you stand now.

I can run close to 90mph in a good chop, But I never raced him. I was looking for him over the summer, but I didn't know "stokin" was removed. Fortunately we don't have much calm water for him to run hard on the weekend, but by next summer I may have his number even in calm water.

What’s he got for a motor?

Scotty, I need more power!

Any chop over 2 foot he can't handle, the boat is to light. As far as the motor goes, I don't recall what it is, I think don't hold me to it but, Hal at brook cove said the guy has something like a 572 or 592 ci. motor, he works with hal and the guy built the motor himself. The boat was owned by this guy's father, and I don't know what the story is but something happen to him, and the son got the boat, took "strokin" off the side, and built a new motor for it, I know its supercharged amoung other mods. He will give you a good run, but like I said I'd love to see you get him.

I knew that progression was fast. A year ago he seemed to be able to pull away from that red fountain we see. I have yet to come across that fountain either. Anybody know his story?

Scotty, I need more power!

The red fountain belongs to a repair shop on 32 in cairo, when the previous ownwer had it, twin 454s?, big money drives, I'm pretty sure he runs about the same as the sonic. I believe the Prog. is the fastest V-hull right now, but like bri said, anything over 2' of chop, you'll get him now. How's the new family member? Oh yeah, I'm glad bri deciced to keep the Enchanter,

I don't know what the sonic will run, but it's not fast enough.

As for my son. Luke is ready to go. He was trying to drive the boat this last summer. Next year I might be a passenger.
