Ji Su Ho, sent me these pics of his Convincor 300. There is a cool story to go along with this boat, which is just AWESOME! But I'll let Ji Su Ho tell you it.

That would be part of the story.

That's a really kewl colour combination. I hope we can see some more pics of it in the water.

I can see from the pictures that this is the boat that you guys experimented with the step going across the entire width of the stern rather than just a small section like mine is. What improvements did you see with this design? Will Checkmates of the future incorporate this into other hulls as a standard?

Hi all, and Kip the boat is running great. The boat is running a 502 MPI with a stage 3 procharger. GPS 79 MPH with a 28 pitch blueprinted prop with a ZX drive. Want to try a 30 pitch. Done well on the local poker runs.

Thanks Chris for the welcome, and thanks for posting the boat. Will try to get some action shots this weekend and send them in. Great site you have here and seems you have the support of Checkmate, that's great.

I thought he was O.K. until I heard he liked the blue jackets.

Vinny......the 300 is the only boat we did the notch (what ever you want to call it)....across the hole transom. It picked up about 5 MPH ! We will do some more R & D to see if is something we can use with other hulls! It worked out great on this hull because it's a dual engine hull that we put an insert in the mold to get the notch .....for high HP singles. Worked out great!

That's right. All the way at the stern by the base of the stripe you can see a notch in the hull. I have also seen some pictures of this boat posted on offshoreonly.com Those pictures were close ups of the notch.

Nice boat Ji Su HO. We have the same boat, same colors and all! We don't have the step added to ours.....they just put another motor in it

I haven't figured out if that is good or bad yet

Can't figure out how to post a picture either?? or I would add it.

Giddy Up!

Yeap, I'm really happy with the boat. I sent Chris some pictures in the water last weekend but he hasn't posted them yet. When you send your pictures to Chris, give some details on the power (twin 6.2's? or better) and the performance.
