Well, with the bearings done, time to move on to new lights for the trailer. The original lights were crap and the wiring job by the PO was a mixed up splice job. I ripped it all out and bought a regular bulb trailer light kit from TSC. Couple questions for the pros,
The hookup at the tail lights are just a push in style, wire goes in hole, metal tab inside housing holds the wire in but there is no real connection. Should I try to make a soldered connection here?
Side marker lights tie into the brown wires. They splice in somehow. There are half assed looking splice connectors included but they don't look reliable. I read about running a brown wire from the tail light back up to the side markers. What's the best way to hook these up? I hope to only wire this up once!
