Looking for a good cover for a Starfire

A friend just got a 1991 Starfire and he wants a cover to put on the boat, either a full length mooring cover or a trailering cover. What is the best fitting brand out there?

Depends on what you want

I had a custom cover made for my Starliner, but a walmart tarp would work and then online there are semi custom pre fab stuff that work well also. Companies like boatcoversdirect.com, nationalboatcovers.com. Sometimes they have your boat model listed and the prices are cheaper than custom.I used national boat covers in the past and a full cover that I trailered was less than 200.00, but it was a clearance item. West Marine and Overtons tend to be way to pricey. You can also put a wanted add in the classifieds here, you never know what people have hanging around in there garage.

National Boat Covers

I just looked, I have used them before, they make a Starflite cover, depending on the material it is listed as low as 283.00 and go up into the 500's

I have a boat cover from Natinaolboatcovers and it nice for the money. Do not get the cheap one though, I did and it was faded in 3 months. Called and warranty claim was denied, left them horrible reviews and they emailed asking me to fix review. I refused until they replaced it. They upgraded me to the middle one and all is well.

Where are you located?

I have a brown one that came with my boat, I would let that go cheap, it has one small hole, 40.00 shipped. I have to buy a box and tape and ship it, that should about 30.00, so for 10.00 bucks you have a nice cover.

oh crap

My bad I thought starflite:confused:, the starliner is 21'2", I have a guy with a Starliner that already wants it. The cover is to big to trailer it will be more like a tarp. And my first checkmate was a Starfire, should have caught that.
