LOOKING TO BUY A KITE TUBE

IF ANYONE HAS OR KNOWS OF WHERE TO BUY A KITE TUBE PLEASE LET ME KNOW, I'VE GOT TO HAVE ONE OF THESE!!!

THIS IS ALL COOPS FAULT FOR SHOWING ME KITE TUBES ON ENDLESS BOATING :bigthumb: :D :bigthumb: :D

THANKS
BRIAN S

We had one and tried it out and yes it will fly but, what they don't tell you is that the way you have to get it in the air is FULL THROTTLE. If you drag anything behind your boat at full throttle it will eventially fly. The only thing me and my buddies gained from the kite tube was pain and luckely they outlawed them before we ended up in the hospital.

Multiply the pain by 10 that you get from a normal tube, and thats what you will get from a kite tube.

I will see how many we have left. We had to take back 14 last year because of the recall. They made is cut the plug area and send back the warning label. Most went in the dumpster. I sold 6 on ebay for $400-800 each. I had to "relable" my ad because cancelled 2 of my auctions.

KITE TUBES

CHECK EBAY THATS WHERE I GOT MINE AND ALSO TRY TO FIND A MANTA RAY ITS SHAPED MORE LIKE A BAT SO YOU COAN KINDA CONTROL IT IN THE AIR

ALSO THE LONGER THE ROPE THE HIGHER YOU FLY BUT THE MORE LIKELY IT IS TO NOSE DIVE

WE BROKE MY BUDDIES FOOT LAST YEAR TRYING TO SEE HOW LONG WE COULD GET THE ROPE

I have the manta ray. the only time we take it out is if there's a good wind blowing. Going into a strong headwind reduces the speed needed for lift. That said, I still throttle back once it takes off. I don't want to be involved in a kite tube video disaster and riders still have a blast.

I saw a manta ray on ebay for 600 + 50 shipping on ebay....:( Thats alot of of loot to drop for a broken neck. I will still get one eventually though:sssh: :bigthumb: :bounce:

brian s....everyones right they do have some on ebay....but they are expensive and illegal....i would suggest buying the frequent flyer tube or the wet and wild flyer by sportstuff....as far as i know they are not illegal...it isnt quite as big...but they will fly...its hard as hell to control so most of the time you just wipe out...but thats the fun part right??? i have the smaller one and my friend pulled me about 35 and it was hovering like 5 feet off the water
o yea i almost forgot they are like 150 to 250 bucks instead of like 600 so its a little easier on the wallet

most people dont think of using the tube as a flap..
think about driving with your hand outta the window
in order for your hand to rise you must angle upwards
alot of people arent trying to bring the nose off of the water.. and you can get airborne at a much lower speed if you do that.
just watch the factorys videos they are probably only doin about 20 mph. yet the factory guys are getting plenty of air..
im sure there are instructions to it but people just inflate and go..
