Mario's 1982 Sportfire Restoration

So, here are some pics. of pre-restoration of the Sportfire.

It took me about a year to get it sea-worthy, mechanically. Maiden voyage of the boat was in January 2013(pretty warm here in TN).
As a matter of fact, had it out yesterday for a "two hour cruise"...

Everything has been more/less worked out on the motor and out-drive. Last winter I replaced all the bellows, shift cable, gimble bearing, u-joints, etc...
I would like to paint the out-drive this winter( I usually take it off the boat, anyway).

Next step is to finish the interior(floor, seats) and then onto fresh paint.
Which I will update, as soon as finished.

Any progress?

Sorry, fellas...

No progress.
My father had been sick, from about the time of my last post. Since then, I have had a lot more work on my shoulders(my father and I own a business).

A little over three weeks ago my father passed. So, now even more work.
My Sportfire project will continue, but it will be sometime middle of 2014.

Thanks for keeping up with me 'ohiomate'...

Over and out...for now.

There are many things in life that take us away from our pleasures. We must be patient.

Sorry to hear of your loss.

Everything good happens in due time.

Looks great! I just acquired a 1982 sportfire completely original, perfect condition, I was wondering what the value of this would be. Got any idea
